The Mysterious Stories of Ghost Moon Tower has two volumes? Why did I not know this?! I thought it was just one volume. I thought I knew all her works, but no.

As an Ima fan (or rather and embarrassingly, 100% fangirl), I fail.

first of all……my very earnest thanks for all the hard work……second……you guys really have a good hand for picking out some awesome artists, many of them were my fav artists before, and some of them I learned to adore through your scanlations, so thanks a bunch…..recently it’s been Yamagata Satomi I’m totally hooked on, thats why my question:
In case of Three Quarters, do you plan to release the missing chapters too in the future? I’m confused about it, because it’s still listed as “ongoing” but isn’t appearing in “forthcoming projects”.
I know the rest of the chapters were released somewhen far, far away in the past (i.e. by MfY), but it was the same with some of the chapters you guys scanlated nontheless (and I’m thankful for that)…..whatever I can’t seem to find any links for the chapters done by the other groups anymore and would love to read the missing chapters as well.

Any information is much appreciated

People, it’s not very nice to harass those who are doing you a service like that. I don’t want to see them shut down or something because people couldn’t stop bitching at them when they are doing a damn fine job with the quality of their releases. I’m dying for the Carp chapter too but I wouldn’t dream of sending e-mails and shit asking when it’s going to happen. Have people never heard of manners?

Come on people, be grateful and don’t bother the people who are working hard for free >.<

It’s shameful that you’re being harassed about your releases (people emailing to pressure you? Come on, that’s just outrageous). Not to defend them in any way, but it seems in this day and age it’s the whiny whiner who gets attention for their demands, yes, it’s childish but unfortunately you see it everywhere.

Regarding Carp chapter 4, I don’t want to be presumptuous, but I hope I speak for the majority of your readers when I say it will be a delight WHENEVER it releases, at Halloween or ANY time that works out for you and your team. Please don’t let the superficial ingrates get you down, they’re not worth your attention.

Besides, the anticipation is sweet in itself! Maybe one has to be a certain (ancient) age to appreciate that!

I just want to say that I’m very appreciative of the work you do. I’m always very excited for a new release from you due to the fact that you choose several of my favorite mangaka.

Take as much time as you need. I’ve been following your scanlation site for a year now, and I’m not going to get greedy. I understand just how difficult it must be to sit there and translate entire manga from start to finish. (I was in an Elementary Japanese class, so it put the perspective on how much work you actually put forth to complete your projects.)

I’m am also a huge Mizushiro Setona fan, but I hate it when people don’t have the patience to wait for whatever they like to be released. Shouldn’t the excitement build?! I absolutely enjoy waiting for the releases, because by the time the chapter gets released, my excitement overflows!

Basically, I just want to commemorate you on your job. It really makes me happy that you’d take it upon yourself, your own personal time, to do these things for people who care nothing of it, but to read the chapter as quickly as they can without letting the work sink into their skulls.

I wonder if a simple ‘Thank You’ can ever express my gratitude towards you and your team of translators?

“The Carp” is my favorite manga I’m waiting for, and I’m just grateful it’s being translated. Thank you very much for doing this.

Without scanlators, where would we all be? The few books in print are just not enough. Why would someone be so stupid as to annoy the people who are doing something for them? Do we really want there to be fewer scanlators? Not me. Please support them instead, however you can.

NICE SPEECH!!! I’m so tired of ppl who think everything is free and due. If it weren’t for you, many would never have discovered this series, so they just should be grateful and wait patiently. I mean, you have no obligation toward anybody concerning those scans and you could stop anytime, so harassing you for it it’s very unwise of them. Indeed, many BL fans act like kids AND ARE KIDS, so kids, if you decided to enter adult world, act like adults.
For the bunch of greedy hogs who can’t wait, you have no idea of how much work it is, if you’re not happy waiting, then buy the book and learn Japanese.

Oh man, people have been complaining that badly about Carp? ._.;; *I* frankly want to apologize for that kind of behavior from some of the other readers; I’ve personally adored the manga so far because it really is one of those works that puts the reader through a wonderful bit of emotional turmoil.

Still, it doesn’t give an excuse to pester people who’re working adamantly to scanlate a huge chapter for an emotionally-charged manga, so I want to say I absolutely appreciate your work. I’ve worked with scanlation teams before (mostly translation editing, cleaning and typesetting), and I know that it takes some goddamn patience to even get through twenty-page chapters regardless of the series, let alone forty to fifty (hell, I heard this one was near a hundred?).

You guys are working much harder and quicker than should be expected, so I really do feel it necessary to at least sincerely thank you for that. Thank you so much. <3

^As stated in the status details, Carp chapter 4 is 160 pages. 160 PAGES!!, it seriously has to be some kind of record breaker.

Just read this and I’m so sad about it… I loved nearly all of your projects, since you seemed to have a really similar taste than I… but still, there’s nothing to do about real life. It’s hard and stressful, so I really understand, why you are closing this down. Still I’m sad *sigh*…. Anyway, thank you sooo much for the great scanlations! Specially for the Kunieda Saika ones, since I love this mangaka so much! I wish you good luck with your future and hope everything turns out as you wish!
