New Release: Yamamoto Kotetsuko, A Boring Man, Chapter 4

Hello again,

And, now, Part Two of “Let’s Tie Hands Firmly!” You can go here for the download.

As I said in my post about Part One, I was glad to see this subject dealt with a little more realistically. The resolution seemed somewhat fast to me, but, this is a 60 page “two-shot,” not a novel. Still, I like to see characters who are vulnerable, like most real people.

There is a sequel to this story, called “Always Hand in Hand.” It’s a more typical story with jealousy and misunderstandings, but it’s nice to revisit characters that you like and see what happens to them.

We plan to bring that story to you next. Then, I’ll return to the beginning of the manga…

Thank you to my editor, Squirrel. She’s not feeling well, but still managed to crawl out of bed and finish this for me today. Such dedication! I hope you’re feeling better soon.

ampersand’s avatarI hope squirrel feels better soon. It is really nice to see manga that deals with things realistically, although it is always difficult trying to nicely wrap it up in only two one-shots. Even Miyamoto Kano had an entire novel to deal with issues of neglect, abuse, and ocd in Two of Hearts and it still felt rushed to wrap it up in the end.

I loved doing this two-shot.
I took a glimps of Always hand in hand and I’m sure you will like it as well. ^^

thanks for scanlating!
i really enjoyed this story - true everything was a little fast, but it was nice reading a sweet more realistic story for a change :)
the artwork was a big plus ?
