New Release: Ima Ichiko, “Pandora’s Elevator” (Five Box Stories, Chapter 3)

Hi everyone,

We’ve finished another chapter of Ichiko Ima’s Five Box Stories. You can download the story, “Pandora’s Elevator,” here.

Recently, I’ve come to love stories about businessmen. Maybe it’s because I have a lovely corporate job myself. But why aren’t there any handsome men in suits where I work? Everyone comes to work looking like they just rolled out of bed and threw on the same pair of jeans they’ve been wearing all week. I’m sure jeans are more comfortable, but they don’t spark my imagination. In my mind, suits symbolize the repressed desire of businessmen like Mikami and Okui, who appear proper and respectable on the surface, yet, underneath, they are secretly longing for that mysterious man they pass every day on the way to the water cooler.

My office really needs more gay romance.

Hee, hee. ^__^ Actually, we don’t have a water cooler. Just over-priced coffee and vending machines. But I think some artistic license is permissible in my imagination.

Cannella’s avatarEheh, I share your thoughts about the need of more gay romance in our offices… I don’t dislike jeans, in fact, they can be very sexy (images of tanned men on walking on the beach wearing jeans and t-shirt randomly pass through my head), only not on businessmen. ^_^; Sexy, handsome businessmen should all wear suits. ^__^

Cannella: I agree 100%. I like jeans, too. But my fantasy businessman is always wearing a suit.
